WORK Inc. is seeking a Career Navigator (CN) to work on a national project to promote customized employment of people with disabilities in a zero exclusion, Discovery-based, person centered model. As a critical team member of the “Massachusetts Pathways to Careers at WORK Inc” project, the CN will conduct Discovery on all program participants and develop individual profiles, visual resumes and an employment plan. The CN will work closely with the Employment Relations Specialist and the Employment Facilitator to ensure that individuals advance from Discovery into internships and/or jobs. The CN will work with individuals with a broad range of clinical diagnosis (primarily autism spectrum disorders and intellectual/developmental disabilities) and their family, support teams and providers.
The CN will be required to travel to participate in additional training and to engage with other Pathways sites in the U.S.

Candidates must have:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Rehabilitation, Special Education, social work, business administration, human resources, or relevant field;
2. Two years full time experience working with people with significant disabilities;
3. Strong oral, written, analytical, research, interpersonal and organizational skills;
4. Competency in Microsoft Office, data management, and social media;
5. Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle;
6. Relevant experience may be substituted for education.

Title Ticket To Work Coordinator/Job Developer

WORK Inc. is looking for a Coordinator/Job Developer for Ticket To Work Program (T2W Coordinator). The T2W Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Vice President of Workforce Development and the Workforce Development Navigator at the WORK Inc. American Job Center Access Point in Dorchester, delivering employment services, referrals to skills training and education, and placement.

WORK Inc. is looking for a self-starter who can coordinate an outcome driven program (job placement and retention) in a person centered environment. Up to 20% of the successful candidate’s time will be spent coordinating services in program, and at least 80% of their time will be spent actively seeking job matches for Ticket to Work Participants. The T2W coordinator will have occasional scheduled evening and weekend hours to inform individuals of and promote the Ticket to Work Program.

Assisting individuals one-on-one and in small groups, you will assist our clients to identify and achieve their employment goals. The long term (5 year) goal for this program is to eliminate the dependence on Supplemental Security Income (SSI) or Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) cash entitlements by assisting Program Participants achieve and maintain full time employment. You will be in a position to grow the program with successful long term outcomes.


Qualifications/Education/Experience:

• B.S./B.A. Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Rehabilitation Counseling, or strong       human resource or business experience preferred; Experience may be substituted       for degree.
• Three years of job development for people with disabilities;
• Reliable transportation to provide services throughout Metro Boston
• Offer of Employment contingent on candidates subsequent satisfactory Federal            Suitability Review Determination (background check).
